Accessibility

Davidson Chalmers believes that the internet should be easy-to-use for everyone, including those with disabilities. With this in mind, we are firmly committed to a policy of accessibility and have designed this website to meet current web standards.

The site is built to conform with accessibility guidelines required by the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1999 and set out by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).  Our website is stringently tested against checkpoints specified by the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines using industry standard validation tools such as Watchfire and XHTML validators.

We are doing this to ensure that the pages can be accessed by all users no matter which browser or medium they are using.

While the pages can still be accessed in older browsers, to see them laid-out correctly will require a standards compliant browser.

If you would like to upgrade your browser we recommend the latest free versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer and Netscape. Mac OS X users may also consider Safari.
